Not all devices are supported because some devices do not have the appropriate measuring chips (or interfaces) and cannot support them at all. Please read the list of unsupported phones at the end of the description.
This app is not intended to be mA accurate. It is only useful when assessing which charger / USB cable combo is working best on the same device.

Launch the app and wait for about. 10 seconds (“Measurement” appears on the display). After this time, the charge or discharge current will be displayed.

Please do not use the reading of this app as a concrete science. However, the readings are sufficient to relatively measure how fair the various chargers and USB cables are on the same device.
If the app always shows 0mA, Please use the setting option “Old measurement method”. If you have at least one on your Lollipop device, you can force the app to use the old measurement interface.
Unfortunately, some Samsung devices do not provide the correct (measured) value (eg S5) and provide the maximum charging current possible with a real USB cable / charger configuration. This is a firmware issue.
Background information: The app measures the charge / discharge current of the battery. If your cell phone is not connected to the charger, you will see a negative discharge current. When you connect the charger, the current supplied by the charger is supplied to the phone and the remaining power is charged to the battery.
If the mobile phone consumes 300mA without a charger connected (-300mA for the display), the 500mA charger will charge the battery up to 200mA with a current of 200mA (200mA for the display).
Technical information: The current displayed is the average of 50 measurements minus 10 upper and 10 lower limits. The displayed current may be unstable, unstable, or zero. This means that the Android system will provide unstable values. Different companies use different types of batteries and other hardware, making it difficult to get accurate results for chargers.
The LiPo battery does not consume the maximum full-time charge of the phone. If the battery is almost fully charged, the charging current will be much lower, such as when the battery is low.

Turn on the phone / ROM that is only compatible with the “old measurement method” and select the appropriate “measurement interface”.
